The “2001 Cologne Study” issued by the Cologne Police provides evidence for the importance and effectiveness of additional safety installation measures on windows and doors. In almost 70 per cent of all attempted burglaries the opening side was lifted out. In 10 per cent the glass was broken Of all the failed burglaries, 45 per cent were due to the technical safety installations (mushroom-shaped pegs, etc.) keeping your belongings protected.
